Sunny California!

We were so excited to go to sunny California this Feb. and get away from all the cold stormy weather, and it turns out we left on just the right week. California was still a little chilli, but Utah was snowy and stormy almost the whole week we were gone. We got a major case of spring fever (along with everyone else here in Utah). We were lucky enough to go to a few beaches and parks and enjoy the feeling of grass between our toes. Yes, we had pretty cold toes, but none the less it was soft green grass on our toes!

Here we are playing games at the park! Can you believe that??!!??!! Macie really loved being outside and to make it even better, the park is right next to the ocean. Just to the left was a beach!

Below is a picture of Macie getting all ready for Disneyland. She had a princess shirt, hat and some rockin' sunglasses.

This was me and Macie's first trip to Disneyland. We were pumped. There is so much to do there that it was almost overwhelming! We were there for one full day and probably only did 1/10th of the things there are to do. It was awesome though! Magical!

I eneded up meeting more princesses than Macie did. She acted like she was so excited to meet them before we got to Disneyland, but when it came down to it, she was terrified and pretty grumpy. She was a little sick that day, and it was the first time since she was 3 days old that she actually fell asleep in my arms! She slept in my arms while we waited in line to see the princesses (for 1 hour) and she's no infant anymore...my arms were sore the next day from carrying her for so long. Here she is just waking up as we saw sleeping beauty (isn't that ironic :).
